UST’s master’s (2 years), PhD (3–4 years), and integrated MS-PhD (5 years) programs span diverse fields, including Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Nanoscience and Technology, Energy Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Radiation Science, Nuclear Science and Technology, Quantum Information, Astronomy and Space Science, Ocean Science, Medical Chemistry and Pharmacology, Marine Technology, Bio-Analytical Science, and Biotechnology. UST Scholarships Korea Benefits:
•UST offers a good stipend to the scholars.
•The scholarship in South Korea will cover the tuition fee.
•To master’s scholars, KRW1,800,000 per month stipend will be provided.
•To Ph.D. scholars, a KRW1,350,000 per month stipend will be provided.
•The scholarship will also provide coverage for comprehensive medical insurance, accident
insurance, e-library access, and counseling expenses.
Eligibility Criteria of UST Scholarships:
1. All international students may apply.
2. Students holding Korean citizenship or having Korean parents are not eligible to apply.
3. A candidate who is applying for a master’s degree program must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
4. A candidate who is applying for a doctoral degree program must have a master’s degree or equivalent before.
5. A candidate must have good health.
6. A candidate must be highly motivated.
7. Applicants must pay a USD 69 registration fee.
Required Documents for UST Scholarship Application:
1. Recommendation letter (if available).
2. Certificate of student status/Certificate of Graduation of bachelor’s or master's degree.
3. Academic transcript of bachelor’s or master's program (if required).
4. Proof of Language proficiency (English)/ Medium of Instruction (English).
7. CV (if required).
8. Motivation letter/statement of purpose (if any).
9. Additional Documents for Special Circumstances.
10. Copy of Valid Passport (Photo and Information Page).
11. Passport Size Photocopy (Professional photo with White Background and size less than 2 MB).
12. University Admission Offer Letter (If Already Issued).
13. A study proposal.
14. Thesis of your master’s degree.
15. Any Certificates, distinctions or awards received.
16. Employment certificate.
17. No-Criminal record certificate.
