The World Youth Forum (WYF) 2026, a transformative fully funded peace catalyst, invites global youth innovators to a dynamic leadership summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. Launched in 2017 under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, this four-day international conference unites 5,000+ delegates from 150+ countries to promote peace, harmony, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, Strong Institutions). With a $5 million budget, it attracts 250,000+ applications, sparking 6,000+ youth-led initiatives since its inception. Delegates join a global dialogue ecosystem, forging cross-cultural networks with UN officials, Egyptian policymakers, and peers from Kenya, Jordan, Brazil, and India.
The dynamic leadership summit amplifies youth-driven advocacy, equipping delegates with diplomacy, negotiation, and innovation skills, with 70% of alumni leading community projects (WYF Report, 2024). The theme, “Youth for Global Harmony”, builds on Youth for Reviving Humanity, emphasizing conflict resolution, climate action, and digital inclusion. Delegates engage in keynote panels led by experts like Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, covering food security, human rights, and tech innovation at Sharm El-Sheikh International Congress Center. Interactive workshops and UN Model simulations enhance leadership agility.
Delegates join virtual pre-event sessions via WYF’s digital platform, exploring Egypt’s peace initiatives and SDG frameworks with 1,000+ alumni, such as mental health programs in Sudan or refugee integration in Uganda. In Sharm El-Sheikh, cultural showcases like World Youth Theatre and field trips to Ras Muhammad National Park foster global solidarity, engaging 2,000+ local stakeholders. Partnerships with UNDP, WHO, UNHCR, and Haya Karima Foundation amplify 7,500+ initiatives yearly. The summit integrates AI-driven dialogue tools, trending in youth advocacy.
Since 2017, WYF has empowered 20,000+ delegates, with cohort launching 2,500+ projects in Nigeria, Pakistan, and Colombia. Conducted in English, with Arabic translation, and a 10–15 hours weekly pre-event commitment, it ensures accessibility. The WYF Framework, rooted in youth empowerment, champions coexistence, diversity, and social justice, as recognized by the UN General Assembly. The summit aims to spark 10,000+ local solutions via a digital peace toolkit.
