Eligibility Criteria for USTB Chinese Government Scholarship:
1. All international students are eligible to apply.
2. A candidate should not be a citizen of China.
3. A candidate must have good health and wellbeing.
4. A candidate applying for a master’s degree program must have a bachelor’s degree.
5. A candidate must have a master’s degree if applying for a doctoral degree program
6. A candidate applying for a master’s degree program must be under 35 years of age.
7. A candidate must be under 40 years of age if applying for a doctoral degree program must be.
8. A candidate wishing to study in Chinese-medium must attend a 1-year Chinese language course at USTB.
9. A candidate wishing to study in English-medium must provide an English Language Proficiency certificate (IELTS/MOI).
10. Applicants must pay a USD 123 registration fee.
A candidate has to submit the application along with the following documents:

2. Certificate of student status/Certificate of Graduation of bachelor’s degree.
3. Academic transcript of bachelor’s program (if required).
4. Proof of Language proficiency (English or Chinese)/ Medium of Instruction (English).
