Eligibility Criteria for University of Helsinki Scholarship in Finland:

1. Candidates who have a permanent residence card in Finland, a long-term resident’s EU residence permit for third-country citizens in Finland, a residence permit based on temporary protection, an EU blue card in Finland, a residence card for a family member of an EU citizen in Finland are students studying under the Erasmus Mundus scholarship program funded by the European Union is exempted from tuition fees.

2. Candidates should be eligible for the master’s program at University of Helsinki.

3. Students should have excellent grades in previous studies.

4. Scholarship programs will only be awarded to students from outside the EU/EEA who are liable to pay tuition fees.

5. Applicants must have completed a first or second cycle of Bachelor’s or master’s from a Finnish university or abroad that grants eligibility to apply to master’s level programs in Finland.

6. Applicants must pay a USD 39 registration fee.

2. Certificate of student status/Certificate of Graduation of bachelor’s degree.

3. Academic transcript of bachelor’s program (if required).

4. Proof of Language proficiency (English)/ Medium of Instruction (English).

6. Motivation letter/statement of purpose (if any).

7. Additional Documents for Special Circumstances.

8. Copy of Valid Passport (Photo and Information Page).

9. Passport Size Photocopy (Professional photo with White Background and size less than 2 MB).

10. University Admission Offer Letter (If Already Issued).
