The SIIT Scholarship, a premier study in Thailand initiative, invites international and Thai students to pursue master’s (2 years) or PhD degrees (3 years) at the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), a research-driven institute within Thammasat University, located in Pathum Thani and Bangkok. Established in 1992, SIIT is a global innovation nexus, leading Thailand in per-faculty research publications for nearly two decades. This SIIT graduate program fosters cutting-edge research and global collaboration, immersing scholars in a multicultural academic odyssey that shapes leaders in technology and engineering.
SIIT’s graduate programs include Master of Engineering in Engineering Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (AI & IoT), and Logistics and Supply Chain Systems Engineering (LSCSE), alongside Master of Science and PhD in Engineering and Technology. AI & IoT students develop smart systems, leveraging SIIT’s advanced labs. LSCSE scholars optimize sustainable logistics, while Engineering Technology researchers innovate in robotics and automation. Delivered in English, the curriculum, guided by faculty from over 10 countries, achieves a 90% employability rate within six months in roles like AI engineers, supply chain analysts, or technology consultants.
The SIIT Scholarship promotes global academic networking. Scholars engage in the SIIT International Research Symposium or Asia-Pacific Technology Forum, collaborating with peers from over 20 countries. Partnerships with universities in the LAOTSE Network and Links to Asia by Organizing Traineeship and Student Exchange enable exchange programs, enriching the global academic network. Students present at conferences like the International Smart Technology Summit, working with industry leaders like PTT Group and SCG, enhancing career prospects. SIIT’s innovation hubs foster entrepreneurship, with 12% of graduates launching startups in AI or green logistics.
Pathum Thani and Bangkok enrich the multicultural academic odyssey. Scholars explore cultural landmarks like Ayutthaya Historical Park, Wat Arun, and Chatuchak Market, immersing in Thailand’s rich heritage. Events like Songkran Festival or Bangkok International Film Festival blend tradition with modernity. SIIT’s modern campuses in Rangsit and Bangkadi, featuring state-of-the-art labs, digital libraries, and sports facilities, support a multicultural academic immersion. Thailand’s tech ecosystem, home to firms like True Corporation, and connectivity to Chiang Mai and Phuket, foster networking and professional opportunities.
