Eligibility Criteria of the Shanghai Jiao Tong Scholarship:

1. The candidate must not be a Chinese citizen.

2. The candidate must have an excellent academic record.

3. The candidate must be in good health.

4. For the master’s program, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree.

5. For a PhD program, the candidates must have a master’s degree.

6. The candidate must be proficient in Chinese or English.

7. Applicants must pay a USD 159 registration fee.
