Youth Action for SDG 6 Fellowship is a fully funded fellowship program in Europe organized by IWA & Grundfos. The international community has acknowledged this fellowship as one of the most significant youth involvement programs in the water sector. In the framework of a world that is changing rapidly, the Fellowship aims to address evolving needs and goals of the water sector.
The Fellowship in Europe will include a series of exclusive online and in-person events. The aim is to collaboratively create a publication that focusses on locally driven solutions. This will help the water sector become more solid and flexible. The Youth Fellows will develop their critical thinking skills, improve their interpersonal skills and gain practical teamwork experience. They will have access to networking and professional development opportunities as well.
During this international fellowship, candidates will participate in in-person events hosted in London, and Denmark. The SDGs fellowship program might include visits to partner organizations as well. There will be various workshops and capacity-building activities. They will also attend 2026 IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Glasgow, Scotland. The host organization will cover the publication costs including design, proofreading, printing, and launching of the projects.
