OYW Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship in Germany is inviting young leaders from across the world to participate in One Young World Summit as Holcim’s international delegates. Holcim aims to explore innovation beyond the boundaries to shape the future of building and making it helpful for people and the planet. The organization understands that technologies must be utilized efficiently to reduce possible societal risks and to ensure that development remains sustainable and equitable. This year, OYW summit in Europe will focus on broadening the discussions around AI and its efficient use in promoting sustainability and other crucial aspects.
This One Young World Scholarship will support young leaders who are creating a difference by using latest AI technologies for sustainable construction like selecting materials, making environment friendly building designs and energy efficiency. Young leaders who are making an impact by using AI for urban resilience like prediction and management of disasters, maintenance of infrastructure, climate adaptation strategies, or traffic management will get scholarship support to attend this global event.
Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship for One Young World summit will also consider young leaders who are making an impact by ensuring appropriate utilization of AI in urban development like drafting policy proposals, community engagement and awareness campaigns. AI can help to reduce the environmental impact of urban environments through energy optimization, waste reduction, and eco-friendly designs. All stakeholders from different sectors must contribute collaboratively to set regulatory standards and ethical guidelines to make the best use of AI for sustainable development.

Benefits of OYW Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship in Germany:
•Participants will get free access to One Young World Summit in Germany.
•Participants will get hotel accommodation in Munich between 2 – 6 November.
•Travel costs to and from Munich will be covered by the host organization.
•Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be provided on conference days.
•Ground transport between Summit accommodation and the Summit venue will be provided.
•There will be a Pre-program in Munich for participants.
Eligibility Criteria for OYW Holcim Building Tomorrow Scholarship in Germany:
•Applicants must be between 18-30 years old.
•Applicants must be creating a positive impact in one of the focus areas of this scholarship which
include:
•Utilization of AI technologies for sustainable construction.
•Applying AI solutions for urban resilience.
•Reliable use of artificial intelligence in urban development.
