Benefits of National Scholarship Program (NSP) in Slovakia:

•University student of second level of higher education will get a scholarship of 620 Euros per month.
•PhD student will get a scholarship of 1025,50 Euros per month.

University teacher/researcher/artist:

•Without PhD degree with less than 4 years of work experience will get a scholarship of 1025,50 Euros per month.
•With PhD degree and less than 10 years of work experience will get 1370 Euros per month.
•With PhD degree and more than 10 years of work experience will get 1470 Euros per month.
•The scholarship will cover living costs related to staying in Slovakia.
•Accommodation will be provided to the scholars.
•Meals will be given during the scholarship duration.
•Students and PhD students can be given a travel allowance, but they have to apply for it along with their scholarship application.

Eligibility Criteria for National Scholarship Program (NSP) in Slovakia:

•Citizens of any country in the world except the citizens of Slovakia can apply for this scholarship program.

Eligibility according to categories:

1. Should be university students at universities outside Slovakia.

2. Should be master’s students (second level of higher education) or students who have completed at least 2.5 years of their university studies in the same study program.

3. Applicants will be on a study stay in Slovakia during their higher education outside Slovakia and who will be accepted by a public, private or state higher education institution in Slovakia for an academic mobility to study in Slovakia.

4. Applicants must pay a USD 39 registration fee.

PhD students:

•To apply for doctoral study program, applicants should be PhD students whose higher education or scientific training takes place outside Slovakia and who are accepted by a public, private or state higher education institution or a research institution in Slovakia.

International university teachers, researchers and artists:

•Applicants should be invited to a teaching/research/artistic stay in Slovakia by an institution with a valid certificate of eligibility to carry out research and development.

1. Recommendation letter (if available).

2. Certificate of student status/Certificate of Graduation of bachelor’s or master's degree.

3. Academic transcript of bachelor’s or master's program (if required).

4. Proof of Language proficiency (English)/ Medium of Instruction (English).

5. CV (if required).

6. Motivation letter/statement of purpose (if any).

7. Any other specific documents needed mentioned on the website according to the scholarship category (students, PhD students, university teachers and researchers).

8. Copy of Valid Passport (Photo and Information Page).

9. Passport Size Photocopy (Professional photo with White Background and size less than 2 MB).

10. University Admission Offer Letter (If Already Issued).
