The KDU Global Immersion, a transformative study Kyungdong University initiative, invites international students to participate in a fully funded program at Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global), a leading institution founded in 1981 in Goseong, South Korea. Hosting 2,000+ international students from 50+ countries across its Global Campus, KDU offers disciplines in Business, Computer Science, Hospitality, and Korean Studies. As a global cultural trailblazer, this South Korea international scholarships program fosters a multicultural academic odyssey, uniting Korean and overseas students to build international networks, enhance professional skills, and engage with South Korea’s cultural vibrancy.
The KDU Global Immersion features two sessions. Session I: Global Networking and Cultural Immersion immerses 100+ participants in Korean language, culture, and history, alongside modern trends like K-Pop, K-Beauty, K-Cuisine, and K-Sports. Scholars participate in seminars, workshops, and cultural excursions to iconic sites like Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jeju Island, and Seorak National Park, fostering cross-cultural exchange. Session II: Global Student Mobility – Academic Semester offers credit-bearing courses in International Business Administration, Smart Computing, International Hotel Management, and Korean Studies, taught in English or Korean. Scholars engage in field trips to industrial hubs like Samsung Innovation Museum, enhancing career-focused learning.
The KDU Global Immersion promotes global collaboration. Scholars connect with peers, KDU faculty, and industry experts from over 40 countries, participating in community service, cultural events, and language exchanges through KDU’s Global Academic Collaboration Centers. The program’s inclusive framework aligns with South Korea’s global education goals, fostering diverse perspectives. Campus events, like Sokcho Cultural Festival, K-Pop World Festival, or Korean Wave Expo, enrich the dynamic academic experience, with 25% of participants forming lasting professional networks.
Studying at KDU’s Global Campus in Goseong, scholars embark on a multicultural academic odyssey. Eligibility Criteria for KDU Global Immersion Program:
1. Students must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs at any university.
2. Participants should be 35 years of age or less than this.
3. Students should have an excellent academic record.
4. Participants should be able to fulfill visa requirements.
5. Candidates should be mentally and physically fit.
6. Applicants must pay a USD 39 registration fee.
Documents Required for the KDU Global Immersion Program:
1. Recommendation letter (if available).
2. Certificate of student status/Certificate of high school or Graduation of bachelor’s degree.
3. Academic transcript of high school or bachelor’s program (if required).
4. Proof of Language proficiency (English)/ Medium of Instruction (English).
5. CV (if required).
6. Motivation letter/statement of purpose (if any).
7. Additional Documents for Special Circumstances.
8. Copy of Valid Passport (Photo and Information Page).
9. Passport Size Photocopy (Professional photo with White Background and size less than 2 MB).
