Master’s Scholarship

The Kazakhstan Scholarships, a transformative study Kazakhstan initiative, invites international students to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs at top-ranked universities across the Republic of Kazakhstan. Administered by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education through the Higher Education Development National Center, this Central Asia scholarships program engages 550 scholars annually (490 undergraduate, 50 Master’s, 50 master’s programs, and 10 Ph.D.) across 36 institutions, including Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (**ranked #29 globally, QS 2025), L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Satbayev University. As a global collaboration scholar, this program fosters a cultural academic odyssey, empowering students to tackle global challenges like sustainable urban planning, renewable energy, and digital transformation through English-taught academic programs.

Launched to enhance Kazakhstan’s global education integration via the Bologna Process, the Kazakhstan Scholarships connects 28,000+ international students from 80+ countries. Scholars engage in interdisciplinary research, leadership workshops, and extracurricular programs at universities like Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations. Business students explore global trade strategies, while Engineering scholars innovate smart technologies. Social Sciences researchers address cultural preservation, and Ph.D. candidates contribute to policy frameworks, driving global impact. With 3,500+ alumni since 2015, scholars join a global network, collaborating with UNESCO, World Bank, and Central Asian research hubs, with 18% launching impact-driven projects post-graduation.

The Kazakhstan Scholarships promotes cross-cultural synergy. Scholars connect with peers, faculty, and industry leaders from over 60 countries, participating in cultural festivals, academic conferences, and community initiatives through platforms like the Kazakhstan International Scholars Network. The program’s inclusive framework aligns with Kazakhstan’s global education goals, fostering diverse perspectives. Campus events, like Astana Cultural Week, Almaty Innovation Summit, or Nauryz Festival, enrich the dynamic academic experience, with 30% of scholars reporting enhanced leadership skills.

Studying in Kazakhstan, scholars embark on a cultural academic odyssey. They explore landmarks like Medeu Skating Rink, Charyn Canyon, or Turkistan’s Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, immersing in Kazakhstan’s cultural vibrancy. Events like Almaty Marathon, Astana Opera Season, or World Nomad Games deepen engagement. University campuses in Astana, Almaty, and Karaganda, with modern research labs, libraries, and student hubs, support a global academic immersion, enhanced by connectivity to Moscow, Beijing, and Istanbul. Kazakhstan’s safe, multicultural environment (QS Best Student Cities 2025) complements academic pursuits.

The process includes online document submission, adaptive potential testing, and Zoom interviews with Ministry representatives and university panels. Join a global cohort to champion academic excellence, embrace Kazakh cultural diversity, and shape a transformative future with Kazakhstan Scholarships!
