INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship in Bulgaria is offered to passionate students from around the globe to engage in research related activities under the supervision of highly qualified faculty at Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology. This summer program is inspired from top international summer research programs in USA and Switzerland (MIT and ETH Zurich).

During this summer research fellowship for undergraduates, fellows will work in groups to complete their research projects and will get an exceptional chance to co-author paper submissions in computer science and AI conferences. Summer research internship will be conducted at the institute in Sofia, Bulgaria between 8-12 weeks depending on the completion of research projects. Fellows can select their research projects according to their relevant educational background and field of interest.

The subjects offered are Computer Vision, Robotics, Foundational Models, Al Agents, NLP, Algorithms & Theory, Quantum Computing, Safe and Trustworthy AI, and AI for Math. At the end of this fully funded research fellowship, students will prepare a summary of their final project written as a conference paper. They will also give final presentation during a seminar in INSAIT.

Eligibility Criteria for INSAIT Summer Research Fellowship in Bulgaria:

•Applicants should be undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a university.
•Applicants should be from computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering fields.
•Applicants must have at least 2.5/ 4.0 GPA.
•Applications from communities underrepresented in STEM are encouraged to apply.
