Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship will explore the important links between food security, energy systems, and leadership for public betterment. Today’s biggest challenges stem from issues regarding access to resources, economic and environmental inconsistency, and void in efficient management. These issues can be resolved through a leadership which is creative, dynamic and proactive to the needs of societies. During this fully funded fellowship, participants will investigate how leadership can support systems that create a balance between availability of resources, economic development, and long-term sustainability.
This international fellowship program invites participants from different fields including government, advocacy, communities, media and technology, arts, business, entrepreneurship, and energy and food producers which will bring diverse range of ideas and experiences. Indo-Pacific fellowship program in USA and New Zealand will promote valuable discussions that combine various perspectives and help create a future where food and energy systems are sustainable and reliable. This will be done by exploring different approaches, storytelling, and through captivating experiences.
Fellows will explore strategies that provide safe access to necessary resources including personal food security and societal energy transformation. Indo-Pacific global Fellowship program will include in-person sessions in Hawaii and New Zealand along with online meetings. Fellows will work with renowned professionals and will engage in collaborative tasks designed to enhance their knowledge, networks, and leadership skills. The links and skills they gain will assist them in bringing positive change in their societies and beyond.

Eligibility Criteria for Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship:
•Applicants should have 5 to 10 years of professional leadership experience in any aspect of food and energy systems as elected officials, government agency representatives, advocacy group leaders, topic experts, community and industry leaders, artists, activists, and social and business entrepreneurs.
•Applicant’s past experiences or current work should have a focus on the Indo-Pacific region.
•Applicants from all over the world can apply.
•Applicants must fully commit to two weeks of in-person sessions in October and November and one week in May, plus regular virtual sessions in between and a final project to implement during and after the program.
