The ICESCO Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2026, a prestigious global training summit, hosted by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), invites emerging leaders to a 24-month professional journey at its headquarters in Rabat, Morocco. Launched in 2022, this second edition has attracted 1,177 applicants from 10 member states, selecting 13 talents in its inaugural cycle to advance education, science, and culture across 53 Islamic nations. Aligned with UN SDG 4 (Quality Education), it fosters leadership development and cross-cultural innovation at ICESCO’s Hay Riad headquarters, a hub for global collaboration. Participants engage in high-impact projects, policy workshops, and mentorship sessions to drive sustainable progress.
The program emphasizes four pillars: Education Innovation, advancing AI-driven learning and Arabic literacy; Scientific Advancement, supporting climate research and biotechnology; Cultural Preservation, promoting Islamic heritage via UNESCO partnerships; and Technological Integration, leveraging digital platforms for cultural dialogue. Participants contribute to initiatives like Marrakech’s Capital of Culture or Fez’s Arabic Manuscript Conference, with 80% of 2022 alumni reporting enhanced career trajectories. The program offers 25–30 hours weekly of immersive training, guided by experts like Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, ICESCO Director-General, whose vision targets 10,000+ global engagements.
Selected professionals access pre-program e-modules, refining project proposals with mentors from ICESCO’s Center for Civilizational Dialogue. Cultural immersions to Rabat’s Medina, Kasbah of the Udayas, and Mausoleum of Mohammed V connect participants to Morocco’s rich heritage, with 95% reporting deepened global perspectives. Networking events, like the World Economic Forum collaboration or Islamic Cultural Centre visits, generate 15,000+ social media interactions. The program integrates AI-supported analytics, trending in global education. Side events at Chellah’s historic ruins and Rabat’s National Library foster multicultural dialogue in Morocco’s cultural capital.
Since 2022, the ICESCO YPP has empowered visionary talents like Faizah Alaoui, appointed to the Global Education Monitoring Report Advisory Board. Conducted in Arabic, English, or French with a 20–25-hour weekly commitment, it ensures accessibility for global professionals. The ICESCO Framework, rooted in innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability, is showcased at OIC summits. The cohort aims to spark 7,000+ cultural initiatives, advancing educational reform, scientific discovery, and global unity. Participants explore Rabat’s vibrant ecosystem, from Hassan Tower’s historic grandeur to Salé’s coastal charm, immersing in Morocco’s cultural epicenter.
