Benefits of the Hanjo Foundation Scholarship in Japan:

•The scholarship amount of Y¥230,000 per month is given for a 1-2 year degree.
•The scholarship amount of ¥210,000 per month is given for 3 years of the degree.
•The scholarship amount of ¥180,000 per month is given for a 4-5-year degree.
•The opportunity to participate in the conference and other events organized by the foundation.
•The traveling grant is provided to attend the conferences.

Eligibility Criteria of the Hanjo Foundation Scholarship in Japan:

1. You must not hold Japanese citizenship.

2. Students, enrolled in the professional graduate school can apply only if they can submit the research plan.

3. Your enrollment duration should be more than 12 months.

4. For a master’s degree, the age should be 30 years.

5. For a PhD degree, the age should be 35 years.

6. You must be passionate about serving your home country shortly.

7. You must have a good understanding of international friendship.

8. You must be able to carry a basic conversation in the Japanese language.

9. Applicants must pay a USD 39 registration fee.

Selection Process for the Japanese Scholarship:

First phase: Screening of Documents.
Second Phase: Interview.
Third Phase: Final Result.

Documents required for the Hanjo Foundation Graduate Scholarship:

1. Recommendation letter (if available).

2. Certificate of student status/Certificate of Graduation of bachelor’s or master’s degree.

3. Academic transcript of bachelor’s or master’s program (if required).

4. Proof of Language proficiency (English)/ Medium of Instruction (English).

5. CV (if required).

6. Motivation letter/statement of purpose (if any).

7. Additional Documents for Special Circumstances.

8. Copy of Valid Passport (Photo and Information Page).

9. Passport Size Photocopy (Professional photo with White Background and size less than 2 MB).

10. University Admission Offer Letter (If Already Issued).

11. A 2-minute movie about the research plan (max size 1GB, length up to 2 minutes, mp4 or mov, in Japanese or English, the face of the applicant should be visible).

12. Research Proposal.
