The wait is over! Global Changemakers is now accepting applications for its premier youth program, the Global Youth Summit. GYS will occur in Cape Town, South Africa, from October 21-25. This fully funded international summit welcomes young leaders from all over the world to apply. Global Changemakers will cover all expenses for selected participants.

The GYS provides a great platform for youth to collaborate on projects, learn, and share ideas and cultures. A week dedicated to skills development, networking, and capacity building awaits you. “The GYS took place in Zurich, Switzerland from July 13 to 19. Approximately 60 brilliant and dedicated individuals were selected to participate in the Global Youth Summit. They experienced a life-changing week filled with learning, networking, and fun, alongside some of the world’s most inspiring young leaders. The Global Changemakers have since joined their network of over 1,200 young changemakers who are making a difference in more than 180 countries.”

Global Changemakers is an international youth organization dedicated to empowering young people to effect positive change in communities around the world. Our mission is achieved through skills development, capacity building, mentoring, and the provision of grants. To date, they have trained more than 50,000 young individuals from over 190 countries and have funded 500 youth-led projects. These projects, often in collaboration with partners like the Shawn Mendes Foundation, have collectively impacted over 16 million people.

Eligibility Criteria of the Global Youth Summit in South Africa:

•Young changemakers aged 21-29 are eligible to apply.
•English language proficiency will be evaluated through a short video submission and during the interview process.
