The Global MINDS Scholarship, a leading study psychology Europe initiative, empowers international students to pursue a two-year Erasmus Mundus Master in the Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion, and Diversity in Society. Co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, this Global MINDS master’s program is delivered by four top universities: University of Limerick (UL) in Ireland, ISCTE–University Institute of Lisbon in Portugal, SWPS University in Warsaw, Poland, and University of Oslo (UiO) in Norway. As a global psychology pioneer, it fosters cross-cultural expertise, equipping scholars with skills in social psychology, cultural psychology, migrant health, diversity and inclusion, and global mobility, driving a multicultural academic odyssey to address societal challenges.
The Global MINDS master’s programs offer a 120 ECTS, English-taught curriculum blending theoretical knowledge with practical training. Semester 1 (Year 1) at ISCTE-IUL (Portugal) or SWPS (Poland) covers cultural diversity or mobility and society, utilizing research labs. Semester 2 at UL (Ireland) or UiO (Norway) advances inclusion and health or social interventions, leveraging intercultural facilities. In Year 2, Semester 3 includes a 300-hour internship with partner organizations like NGOs or mental health agencies, enhancing professional experience. Semester 4 focuses on a research-based thesis, defended at a partner university, earning a joint or double degree. With an 85% employability rate within six months, graduates excel as psychologists, policy advisors, or diversity consultants.
The Global MINDS Scholarship emphasizes global psychology networking. The mobility scheme ensures study in at least two countries, such as Ireland and Poland or Portugal and Norway, fostering intercultural collaboration. A mandatory summer school in cross-cultural methods at the end of Year 1 sharpens research skills. Partnerships with 40 associate organizations provide real-world exposure, with 10% of graduates launching social impact initiatives, aligning with EU inclusion goals. Scholars access advanced resources, ensuring a career-focused psychology education.
Studying in Limerick, Lisbon, Warsaw, and Oslo, scholars experience a multicultural academic odyssey. They explore Limerick’s King John’s Castle, Lisbon’s Belém Tower, Warsaw’s Old Town, or Oslo’s Vigeland Park, engaging with Europe’s heritage. Events like Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Day, Portugal’s Santo António Festival, or Poland’s Pierogi Festival enrich cultural engagement. Campuses with digital libraries and student societies support a global learning immersion, enhanced by connectivity to Dublin and Copenhagen.
