Master’s Scholarship

The CYBERUS Scholarship, a leading study cybersecurity Europe initiative, empowers international students to pursue a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Cybersecurity at a global cyber vanguard. Co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme, this CYBERUS master’s program is delivered by four top universities: Université de Bretagne Sud (UBS) in Lorient, France; Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in Tallinn, Estonia; Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels, Belgium; and University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu) in Luxembourg City. Fostering cross-cultural collaboration, it equips scholars with expertise in IoT Cybersecurity, Software Cybersecurity, Cryptology, Network Security, Blockchain, and AI for Security, driving a multicultural cyber odyssey to address global cyber threats.

The CYBERUS master’s programs blend theoretical training with practical experience. Semester 1 (30 ECTS) at UBS and TalTech covers core concepts like cryptography and network protocols, leveraging UBS’s cybersecurity labs and TalTech’s IoT research hubs. Semester 2 (30 ECTS) at UBS deepens skills in secure system design. Semester 3 (30 ECTS) offers specialization: IoT Cybersecurity at ULB, focusing on hardware security and AI-driven defenses, or Software Cybersecurity at Uni.lu, emphasizing blockchain applications and software analysis. Semester 4 (30 ECTS) includes a five-month internship with global partners like Nokia or ENISA and a master’s thesis, earning a double degree (e.g., UBS-ULB or UBS-Uni.lu). With an 85% employability rate within six months, graduates excel as cybersecurity engineers, consultants, or researchers.

The CYBERUS Scholarship prioritizes global cyber networking. The annual Winter School at TalTech, themed “Cyberthreats and Cyberactors,” features workshops and hackathons like Capture the Flag, enhancing skills in threat detection. Collaborative projects foster teamwork, preparing scholars for innovation-driven careers. The mobility scheme across France, Estonia, Belgium, and Luxembourg builds cross-cultural expertise, with 10% of graduates launching cybersecurity startups, aligning with EU digital sovereignty goals. Scholars access advanced facilities, including secure computing labs, ensuring a career-focused cybersecurity education.

Studying in Lorient, Tallinn, Brussels, and Luxembourg City, scholars experience a multicultural cyber odyssey. They explore Tallinn’s Old Town, Brussels’ Grand Place, Luxembourg’s Bock Casemates, or Lorient’s maritime heritage, engaging with Europe’s history. Events like France’s Festival Interceltique, Estonia’s Song Festival, or Belgium’s Tomorrowland enrich cultural engagement. Campuses with digital resources and student societies support a multicultural learning immersion, enhanced by connectivity to Paris and Amsterdam.

Join a global cohort to pioneer cybersecurity excellence, embrace Europe’s cultural diversity, and shape a secure digital future at a global cyber vanguard. Apply now for the CYBERUS Scholarship.
