The Ellison Scholars Program, a transformative study in UK initiative, invites international students to pursue fully funded undergraduate degrees at the University of Oxford, ranked #3 globally (QS World University Rankings 2025). Launched by the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT), this fully funded scholarship Oxford program awards approximately 20 scholarships annually, nurturing global tech trailblazers who drive innovative solutions through a transformative innovation hub. Established in 2023, EIT fosters technological advancements in Health Sciences, Sustainable Agriculture, Clean Energy, and AI Governance, collaborating with Oxford’s world-class facilities.
The Ellison Scholars Program engages scholars in cutting-edge research across disciplines like Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Plant Sciences, and Microbiology. Hosted at EIT’s Oxford campus, set for completion in 2027, scholars access cloud-controlled greenhouses, genomic sequencing labs, robotics development suites, and the world’s largest 16,000-node NVIDIA H100 GPU supercluster for AI training. Scholars contribute to multidisciplinary projects, transforming research discoveries into scalable solutions for challenges like climate change, food security, and healthcare innovation during academic terms and 10-week summer internships.
The program champions global collaboration. Scholars work with EIT Faculty Fellows, including luminaries like Dr. David Agus and Professor Sir John Bell, alongside peers and Oxford faculty from over 50 countries. This inclusive framework fosters diverse perspectives, with projects spanning software development, sensor design, and novel materials. Campus events, like Oxford Innovation Summit, Science Festival, or EIT Research Symposiums, enrich the dynamic academic experience, with 45% of scholars forming global professional networks. EIT’s partnerships with institutions in USA, China, and India enhance cross-border research.
Studying in Oxford, scholars explore landmarks like Bodleian Library, Magdalen College, or Pitt Rivers Museum, immersing in the UK’s cultural vibrancy. Events such as Notting Hill Carnival, Oxford Literary Festival, or London Tech Week deepen engagement. Oxford’s 900-hectare campus, with advanced research labs, historic lecture halls, and student hubs, supports a global academic immersion, enhanced by connectivity to London, Paris, and Amsterdam. The city’s safe, scholarly environment (QS Best Student Cities 2025) complements academic pursuits.
Scholars commit to year-round EIT projects, aligning academic pursuits with global impact goals. Join a global cohort to champion research excellence, embrace UK cultural diversity, and shape a sustainable future with the Ellison Scholars Program!
