Austria Government Scholarship offers scholarships to undergraduate, master’s, postgraduates, and doctoral students. This fully funded scholarship is open to international students. A citizen of Austria is not eligible to apply.

All students will be mentored by great supervisors. Government of Austria scholarship aims to enable talented students to pursue their research and innovative ideas independently. Moreover, master’s students can complete their scientific research and thesis work while on this program.

This fully funded research scholarship program in Austria was established in 2005 by the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria. Austria scholarship for international students is available to undergraduate, master’s, and postgraduate students. Eligibility Criteria of Austria Government Scholarship:

•All international students are eligible to apply.
•Students working on their thesis at bachelor’s or master’s degree level or on their dissertation
may apply.
•A candidate who has already availed of this scholarship either at bachelors, master’s or Ph.D.
levels are not eligible to apply.
•A candidate should not have traveled to Austria in the last 6 months for research, academic, or
study purposes.
•A candidate should be under 35 years while applying for a research grant at undergraduate or
master’s degree level.
•A candidate should be under 40 years while applying for a research grant at the Ph.D. degree
level.
