The Universal Youth Movement (UYM) is organizing the Youth Leadership Summit (UYLS) in the Maldives, offering funded, partially funded, and self-funded seats. With a mission to nurture exceptional future leaders, UYM utilizes all available resources to support youth development by fostering personal integrity and imparting moral values. Young leaders from around the world will come together at UYLS to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore solutions for empowering youth in their communities.
The UYLS series aims to cultivate a culture of youth leadership and produce outstanding leaders through an ethically driven educational approach. This approach emphasizes global culture, strong character values, and national identity among the younger generation. Key topics of the summit include Universal Education, Youth Governance, and Mental Health and Wellbeing. UYLS stands out as an initiative focused on teaching global awareness, patriotism, and moral character to international participants.
The primary goal of this international youth leadership summit is to engage young individuals and provide them with a deeper understanding of global challenges. Participants will develop essential skills such as public speaking, debating, writing, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. Key topics include Life Below Water, Community Empowerment, and Youth Entrepreneurship.
During the UYLS Maldives Summit, participants will gain insights into the importance of diversity, inclusiveness, and diplomacy, along with a better understanding of global issues. Funded applicants will receive a one-way air ticket, accommodation, meals, a certificate, a summit kit, and airport transfers. Participants across all categories will also have the chance to win awards. Eligibility Criteria for Universal Youth Leadership Summit:
•Must pay an application processing fee of $19 for all categories.
•Must be between 16 and 35 years of age.
•Should be motivated and passionate.
•Preferably should be enthusiastic students and young professionals.
