The UMT (Union of Municipalities of Turkey) offers a fully funded international internship program, providing participants with comprehensive coverage of the program’s costs. local International has successfully created an international training environment, attracting participants from various European, Asian, and Middle Eastern countries. This program not only offers valuable learning opportunities but also facilitates socialization and showcases exemplary municipal work practices. In the year 2019, the program saw participation from 41 students representing 34 different countries.

The local international internship for the year is scheduled to take place in Turkey from 20-27 August. Selected participants will have all their expenses fully covered by the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye. This fully funded internship program offers opportunities in various fields including Law, Economics, Urban/Regional Planning, Sociology, Statistics, Communication, Political Science, International Relations, Administrative Sciences, and other related disciplines.
