The SI Impact Pioneers 2026, a transformative fully funded innovation odyssey, invites climate tech trailblazers to engage in a climate tech leadership hub in Stockholm, Sweden. Launched by the Swedish Institute (SI) as a pilot, this eight-week hybrid leadership program empowers entrepreneurship ecosystem enablers to drive climate tech innovation in areas like renewable energy, carbon capture, green mobility, circular economy, and climate adaptation, aligning with Sweden’s 2045 net-zero goal and UN SDGs. With a €2 million budget, the program supports 60 participants, expecting 8,000+ applications. Fellows thrive in a cutting-edge innovation ecosystem, fostering global climate tech networks.

The climate tech leadership hub equips leaders to amplify local startup ecosystems, addressing 80% of global emissions tied to urban systems (UNEP, 2024), with 70% of alumni scaling climate tech ventures (SI Report, 2024). Fellows engage in weekly virtual masterclasses, peer-to-peer exchanges, and Impact Journey projects, producing 40+ strategic frameworks, showcased at Stockholm’s Climate Tech Summit or Nordic Innovation Forum. Focus areas include AI-driven climate solutions and green hydrogen scaling. A virtual pre-program briefing introduces SI’s innovation tools, including 1.2 million+ digital resources via KTH Library, Vinnova datasets, and Nordic Climate Tech Hub archives, fueling strategic excellence.

The Stockholm innovation odyssey immerses fellows in Sweden’s top-ranked innovation ecosystem (Global Innovation Index 2024), featuring workshops at STING Accelerator, site visits to Kista Science City, roundtables at Impact Hub Stockholm, and networking with Ericsson Sustainability Lab and Northvolt innovators. Fellows connect with experts from 50+ countries via Global Climate Tech Dialogues and in-person summits, fostering cross-border partnerships. Collaborations with Nordic Council, UNEP, and European Institute of Innovation provide access to global green ecosystems. Fellows contribute to SDG 13 (Climate Action), with 100+ actionable plans developed annually. SI’s Inclusive Innovation Initiatives host 200+ events, with 40% fellows from underrepresented regions.

Founded in 1945, the Swedish Institute is a global sustainability leader, with fellows leveraging Stockholm’s innovation hubs like Sup46 and Epicenter. Since 2024, 120+ alumni have influenced EU Green Deal policies, African Union climate frameworks, and ASEAN sustainability roadmaps, with 85% in ecosystem leadership roles. Plans to expand ties with Global Climate Tech Alliance, Asia-Pacific Green Hub, and African Innovation Network aim to grow 30,000+ collaborations. Conducted in English, with cross-sector masterclasses, the program ensures accessibility. The SI Framework emphasizes collaboration, sustainability, and impact-driven innovation.

Join climate tech trailblazers to ignite fully funded innovation odyssey, shape climate tech ecosystems, and drive global sustainability with SI Impact Pioneers 2026!
