Benefits of Republic of Estonia Scholarships in Europe for International Students:
Scholarships for summer and winter schools:
•The scholarship will include up to 700 EUR for course fee and will directly to the host university.
•Cost of accommodation for 4 weeks will be covered by the host Estonian university (25 EUR per night).
Grant/Scholarship for researchers and academic staff:
•Researchers can get short-term grant (1-9 days) or long-term grant (10 days – 10 calendar months).
•The subsistence rate will be 45 Euros per day and 660 Euros per month.
Scholarships for degree and exchange study in Estonia:
•The scholarship opportunity can be used for both exchange and degree studies.
•Undergraduate students will get scholarships for 12 months.
•Scholarship amount for bachelor’s and master’s studies is 350 euros per month.
•Scholarship amount for the doctoral program is 660 euros per month.
Eligibility Criteria for Republic of Estonia Scholarships for International Students:
Scholarships for summer and winter schools:
1. Applicants should be bachelor’s, master’s and PhD students who have studied at least one year in their universities before applying.
2. Applicants can contact the program coordinator directly if they find a suitable course for themselves.
3. Applicants can apply for a scholarship to cover the participation fee for online courses.
4. Applicants have to pre-register to the course to apply for a scholarship.
5. One applicant can only take one course.
6. Applicants should submit the necessary documents directly to the host institution.
7. Applicants have to submit a report about the activities and costs within one month after the completion of summer or winter school.
8. Applicants must pay a USD 39 registration fee.
Grant/Scholarship for researchers and academic staff:
1. This scholarship will be awarded to researchers and academic staff of higher education institutions.
2. Applicants should have an academic position in their home institutes.
3. Postdoctoral studies are not offered grants.
4. Participants should stay in Estonia during the grant period.
5. Candidates’ period of stay in Estonia must begin and end within the academic year.
6. Applicants must pay a USD 39 registration fee.
Scholarships for degree and exchange study in Estonia:
1. These scholarships are for international students who want to study at an Estonian higher education institution as a degree or exchange student.
2. Applicants should be students from the list of eligible countries.
3. Exchange students cannot get a scholarship for more than 10 months a year.
