The ISW-Iran 2026, a vibrant fully funded cultural exchange Iran, invites young professionals, students, and activists to a 5-day global youth forum Tehran. Co-organized by the University of Tehran and Western Asian Development Institute (WADI), with support from Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, this youth-driven initiative, launched in 2018, engages 35–40 global cultural trailblazers from 20+ countries annually. Hosted in Tehran, the program fosters cross-cultural solution synergy through educational workshops, interactive dialogues, and cultural immersions, promoting global understanding.

Participants engage in 20+ hours of workshops led by prominent scholars and industry experts, addressing global challenges like climate change, social equity, and technological innovation. The program includes panel discussions, encouraging participants to propose solutions, with 90% reporting enhanced problem-solving skills. Fellows visit Tehran’s cultural landmarks, such as the Golestan Palace, Sa’dabad Complex, and Milad Tower, and explore natural sites like Mount Tochal, gaining a holistic perspective of Iran’s heritage. Cultural nights feature Iranian traditions like Nowruz-inspired performances or Persian poetry recitals, alongside participant-led showcases of global cultures, fostering intercultural bonds.

The transformative Iranian odyssey includes site visits to institutions like the University of Tehran’s innovation labs or Tehran’s tech startups, offering insights into Iran’s scientific and entrepreneurial landscape. A 2-day Model United Nations (MUN) session, part of ISW-Iran, simulates global policy debates, enhancing leadership skills. The program’s hybrid model offers 10+ hours of virtual pre-event sessions via Zoom, ensuring accessibility from Tokyo, Cairo, or Sao Paulo. Participants collaborate on team projects, designing initiatives to address socio-economic issues, with 85% of alumni sustaining international networks.

WADI, a youth-led institute, champions diversity and inclusion, breaking media stereotypes through user-friendly platforms that highlight Iran’s art, history, and hospitality. The program encourages participants to share their cultures, such as Indian dance or Brazilian capoeira, at community events, amplifying global unity. Tehran, a dynamic hub (QS Best Cities 2025: #92), with research centers and bazaars, supports intellectual growth, connecting fellows to Dubai, Istanbul, and Delhi. ISW-Iran aspires to expand across the Middle East, fostering regional collaboration.

Candidates submit an online form, shortlisted applicants attend virtual interviews and results are announced via email. A virtual option accommodates participants unable to travel, featuring online workshops and e-tours. Join the global cohort to champion cultural diversity, embrace Iran’s vibrancy, and shape a connected future with ISW-Iran 2026!
