Taipei Medical University is offering TMU Elite Short-Term Exchange Program, a fully funded student exchange program in Taiwan. Students will get the opportunity to study at a top-ranked medical institution and experience living in Taipei City during this 5-month program at TMU. They will study with working professionals and other overseas students which will enhance their experience. This fully funded exchange program is a fabulous opportunity to learn from doctors and professors at Taipei Medical University through healthcare courses.

During this international exchange program, there will be a Mandarin intensive course of 6 hours each week where students will be able to immerse themselves in the Chinese language and culture fully. There will be a medical-related course of 6 hours each month. The program will also include an academic research project of 3 months in which students will have hands-on practice along with theoretical study. The course is scheduled from September to January. Shortlisted candidates will have an interview and then selected individuals will be able to avail this course program.

TMU offers multiple courses related to medical fields including Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Anatomy, Nursing, Public Health, TCM, Long Term Care, and Digital Health. There will be an off-campus program where students will visit a Pharmaceutical Factory, Medical Institutions, VIP Wards, a Laboratory, a Medical Simulation Education Centre, and a VR Experience space. During this international research program, students will be taught the Chinese language which will help them to learn a new language.

This fully funded short-term exchange program for international students will cover the entire course fee, round-way airfare, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of NTD. 8,000. To keep the participants engaged, various cultural experience activities have been arranged which include visits to Taipei 101 (the world’s tallest energy-efficient green building), The National Palace Museum, Jiu Fen Old Street, E-DA Theme Park, and Nantou which has tea plantations and a beautiful lake. Eligibility Criteria for TMU Elite Short-Term Exchange Program:

Applicants applying should:

•Be a citizen of one of these countries which include Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia,
Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri
Lanka, Bhutan, Australia, or New Zealand.
•having a background in biological science, healthcare, laboratory work, data analysis, or any
other fields related to medicine.
•Hold a bachelor’s degree or can be in sophomore, junior, senior year or above this.
•Have proof that they have a minimum amount of $1000.
•Have not received any financial help/scholarship from the Government or any other educational
institutions of Taiwan previously.
