If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The application process for the Hurford Youth Fellowship Program in the United States is now open. This fully funded leadership program is highly competitive and internationally acclaimed. The Hurford Youth Fellows Program invites applicants from all countries.

Hurford Programs is one of the best youth exchange programs, where selected participants get in touch with global networks, democracy movements, and youth movements from all around the world. The main aim of the Hurford youth fellowship is to train potential young democracy activists and to build their leadership skills. In this program, the young leaders will engage in conducting research, meetings, lead presentations, online group discussions, and join all other important sessions on democracy issues. 

The duration of the international fellowship program is 3 months. The program will take place in Washington D.C. from March 1 – May 31. There is no application fee. The candidates will be based on their work and their interests in working with others and the advancement of democracy. The candidates will be selected by the NED regional program staff, World Movement Secretariat staff, and the Hurford Youth Fellowship Alumni Network.

The Hurford Youth Leadership Program is fully funded in the USA. All the expenses of the selected participants will be covered by the organization. Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend for living expenses, basic health insurance, and roundtrip travel to and from Washington, D.C. The fellows will have their own office including access to the internet and email. The program will also provide a stipend for long-distance phone calls. •A social or democratic activist in their communities or worldwide from all over the world can
apply.
•Participants would be encouraged if they are affiliated with or recognized by civil society
organizations.
•Participants must know English.
