Engineering students at Freie Universität innovate green technologies, while Arts majors at Potsdam explore cultural storytelling. Environmental Studies experts develop sustainability solutions, and Business students at Berliner Hochschule craft social enterprise models. The SBW Berlin Scholarship prioritizes global social networking. Scholars engage in workshops, project meetings, and presentations, developing skills in project management, collaboration, and analytical thinking. Partnerships with non-profit organizations and SBW’s network facilitate projects addressing poverty, education access, or climate resilience, with 10% of graduates launching social startups. The program requires scholars to implement social projects during or after studies, aligning with SBW’s mission to advance global sustainability. Regular progress reports and academic reviews ensure excellence, strengthening the global change network.
Studying in Berlin or Potsdam, scholars experience a multicultural social odyssey. In Berlin, they explore Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, or Berliner Dom; in Potsdam, Sanssouci Palace. Events like Berlinale Film Festival, Karnival der Kulturen, or Potsdam’s Tulip Festival enrich cultural immersion. With over 190,000 international students in Germany, campuses offer language courses, career counseling, and student societies, fostering a multicultural learning immersion.
