Benefits of Hungary Government Scholarship:
•Free tuition for the entire study period with no application or exam fees.
•Monthly stipend for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD students (as partial support for living expenses in Hungary).
•Support for accommodation costs.
•Free medical insurance throughout the program duration.
•Part-time work is allowed (up to 30 hours/week), but earnings may not fully cover living expenses.
Eligibility Criteria for the University of Debrecen Hungary Scholarship:
1. To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must be from eligible countries.
2. Residents of Hungary are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
3. Applicants must have a secondary school certificate if they are applying for a bachelor’s degree.
4. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree if they are applying for a master’s degree.
5. Applicants must have a master’s degree if they are applying for a doctoral degree.
6. Applicants must pay a USD 39 registration fee.
7. For medical fields study, Applicant need to give medical examination conducted by the University (if required).

1. Recommendation letter (if available).
2. Certificate of student status/Certificate of high school or Graduation of bachelor’s or master’s degree.
3. Academic transcript of high school or bachelor’s or master’s program (if required).
4. Proof of Language proficiency (English)/ Medium of Instruction (English).
5. CV (if required).
6. Motivation letter/statement of purpose (if any).
7. Additional Documents for Special Circumstances.
8. Copy of Valid Passport (Photo and Information Page).
9. Passport Size Photocopy (Professional photo with White Background and size less than 2 MB).
10. University Admission Offer Letter (If Already Issued).
11. Medical certificate (can be submitted later).
12. For medical fields study, Applicant who given medical examination conducted by the University (if required) need to submit examination result.
Selection Criteria of the University of Debrecen Hungary Scholarship:
1. There are 3 steps for selecting a candidate.
2. The sending partner 1st pre-selects the application and sends a nomination.
3. Secondly, the University of Debrecen reviews the applications sent by the sending partner makes
a formal call to the applicants for the interview or exam and informs TPF.
4. As a final step, TPF informs the awardees about the scholarship.
